Give reasons for poor comprehension.

Reasons for Poor Comprehension 

1.       It is due to the inability to understand the meaning of a word, a phrase or a sentence. 

2.       It is due to the inability to make out how the sentences are related to one another in a paragraph or passage. 

3.       Poor comprehension can be due to lack of interest or concentration, which can either be due to the physical or mental state of the reader. 

4.       Inability to understand can be due to unfamiliarity of the concepts.( as in biology or maths). Certain concepts are tough to understand and this can affect the comprehension capacity of the reader. 

5.       Failing to understand a single paragraph in a passage can be the reason for poor comprehension.
